She is the Editor-in-Chief and Head Instigator at Mystery Playground, a blog for people who love crime fiction and to have fun. Her non-fiction byline has appeared in Investor's Business Daily, Criminal Element, 24-Life, The Huntington Harbour Sun and Impatient Optimist: The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's blog. Twice, she has served on the committee for the world's largest mystery convention, Bouchercon.
By day Deborah runs Storyteller Playground, where she helps businesses with their communications, messaging and storytelling. Her clients have included Google, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, HP, Intuit and Stanford Research International.
